Quincy (Co-Owner + CEO)

Quincy is an Organizational Psychology PhD and former Marketing Executive who is a proud 2x Grammy Award loser. He handles the overall strategy, administrative side of Campfire but from time to time can be found manning a roaster or pulling espresso shots behind the bar. But most days, it’s communicating with supply chain partners and working to position Campfire as a leader in coffee sustainability and outdoor equity.

Whitni (Co-Owner + COO)

Prior to starting Campfire, Whitni worked in mental health counseling and before that, was an Army Medic. As the business has grown, her role is solely to handle the operations of Campfire which include the production facility, retail and e-commerce. Forever the maker, she still insists on hand making a few of the items available through the Campfire e-commerce store.

Lauren S. (General Manager + Lead Roaster)

A Maryland native, once upon a time Lauren played Lacrosse collegiately and along with Whitni, worked in mental health counseling. Since joining Campfire as employee #1, she’s done everything from roast coffee, administer gear donations, to run the coffeeshop, training and onboarding new staff.. She currently helps manage the day-to-day duties across the entire company and keeps our operational protocols including USDA/FDA and health department compliance on point.

 

Kaylee P. (Assistant Manager)

Kaylee is a Tacoma native who is a coffee + customer service pro. While she is mostly found assisting Lauren and Whitni with day-to-day operations across the business, she also handles vendor relations to make sure all the goods and services are running in tip-top form and once a while, Kaylee jumps behind the bar.

Jessica C. (Account Manager)

Jessica is a seasoned account pro and lover of all things PNW. Her primary duties are maintaining wholesale account relationships. When she’s not making sure partners are on the up and up, she can occasionally be found at basecamp helping Whitni tackle big orders.

Ken T. (Production Roaster)

Ken spent over a decade owning his own brewery in Tacoma and comes to Campfire applying the science of making beer to roasting open flame wood fire coffee. Ken is an avid backpacker and when he’s not roasting, he can likely be found in the woods on another adventure.
